Keeping the body and mind healthy is the first priority of this project. During the covid times when the whole world is suffering and staying indoors, our "dev-deh" project is reaching out to the isolated and needy in the following ways.

• 1. Medical Help:

  1. ●  Aarohan Welfare Society provides medical help to the disabled and other needy persons by providing food and medicine services to the aged & disabled persons.
  2. ●  Oxygen Concentrator Service is also given to the Covid-19 positive patients.
  3. ●  Diapers and Sanitary pads also distributed to disabled ladies and incapacitated veterans in their homes.
  4. ●  Special medical insurance is provided to Cerebral Palsy persons, mental ill people, persons with multiple disabilities, and for autism patients with the help of the National Trust of India.

• 2. Care Giving:

  1. Care giving facility is also provided by Aarohan Welfare Society to women who are 100% disabled.

• 3. Survey & Analysis & Research:

  1. Aarohan has been involved in online and telephonic surveys to explore and gauge the medical requirement and services needed by its target sections (disabled, women, and the elderly). By this process,data are also digitized which can be used for further research and analysis. Same data are used for applying under various govt-aided schemes to avail different kinds of benefits given to the disabled and for UDID (Aadhar) cards also. Other major research work is on the impact of different alternative therapies on disabled persons and veterans.
