Free Artificial Limbs Distribution

Vocational training for Cutting and Stitching is imparted to interested disabled female beneficiaries. After the training, Aarohan also helps them to join certain tailors or to start their own work or to set up a repairing work. Different women oriented organisations are knotted up for this work.

Life Skill Management techniques were taught to dropout / illiterate adolescence girls from different blocks of Yamuna nagar. The workshops were organised in collaboration with Ministry of women & Health, Haryana from time to time. In such workshops emphasis is made on personality development, Confidence building, women right awareness, Health & Hygiene, various schemes launched by the government and career counselling. Besides that, recipes sharing, problem sharing, stress management techniques, Meditation techniques are also discussed and taught.

Computer vocational skills are given to disabled persons either at GNG College , Department of Computer Science, Yamuna Nagar . For ULLAS members such training is given at the ULLAS centre only. The training is for Basic of Computers, Internet, Graphics, Editing and Designing . Training duration is about one month.

Rakhi Making

Marketing Skills are provided to ULLAS members from time to time. Stalls of Diya’s, Holli Colors , Rakhis, etc are organised in different clubs, schools, colleges during festival seasons. These Skills polishes communication techneques, money management, sales skills, time management & planning management skills in ULLAS members.

From time to time, Aarohan Also organises various awareness camps for all divyangs regarding Divyang Medical Insurance Policies, Government Polices, Divyang Pension Schemes, Government Jobs, Job Fairs etc .

MoU has been signed with Bull’s Eye for giving 50% concession to the Aarohan member who wants to have couching for various competative examinations like bank entrance exams (PO as well as Clerical ), Railways, Group D exams under SSC, and others.

Digital Data base is maintained for divyang persons so that all the information is communicated to them easily. Their whatsapp group increase their sharing among them selves. Various schemes are digitally also transferred to all through digital database.

Aarohan is developing Library for competitive exams books, !0th , !2th Books, religious books , motivational books and children story books. Motto for maintaining library is to develop reading habit among children, senior citizens, preserving our rich heritage in form of books and knowledge. This library will be open for all. Books are either donated by people or are purchased.

Career counselling is available 24*7 by Aarohan Board Members. All the resources are made available to them to pursue their career. Aarohan also helps in getting bank loans under various schemes for Divyangs.

Sensitizing general public about disability, care taking of disabled persons, needs of disabled persons, need of accessibility for divyangs; is also a major part of Aarohan. For this workshops in schools and colleges , clubs are organised. Home visits are also given by counsellors.

Every year Aaohan Welfare society, in collaboration with Rotract Club of GNG College, celebrates Diwali at Old Age Home , Jagadhari

After every three years , Divyaangs have to renew their registration at employment office. Aarohan organises the Employment Exchange Registration Camp to help divyangs to get them selves registered.

Every year, Dusherra is celebrated by Aarohan Members at either Old Age Home or at ULLAS Centre.

Karoshiya (Crochet) making workshops were organised by Aarohan Welfare Society for divyang ladies so as to make them self earning. Financially weaker ladies from adopted village – MalikpurKahdari, are also trained for this skill so that they can start theirwn work. They have made beautiful Bedcovers, duppata’s , Sweater & Cardigans from this.

our disabled ladies made eco friendly Holi colors from flower petals only. No Chemical or powder is mixed in this product. These colors are very safe for children and all types of skins. Rose color can be used in face packs also.
